530 Outfitters has teamed up with River Pursuit Guide Service to offer a unique, overnight scenic fly fishing experience on the Lower Sacramento River. This overnight trip includes two days of guided fishing, meals and a private campsite. Let us take care of the heavy lifting while you enjoy the river, eagles, wild trout and the company of your friends or family.
Your trip starts with meeting at a private, secure, location where your vehicle stays parked for the duration of the trip. From there, we will shuttle you and your crew to the put-in to embark on a 12 mile float with towering red bank cliffs, cottonwood trees, valley oaks and a plethora of wildlife.
At the end of the first day, upon arriving at camp, you will be provided with your own tent and sleeping pad. Once settled, you will head to the dining area for appetizers and beverages including soft drinks and whatever libations you brought. Dinners are served ranch style and may include barrel cooked tri tip or chicken, baked potatoes, sweet roasted corn, salad, garlic bread and seasonal dessert.
After dinner, sit back with your crew and enjoy the sounds of the river as it reminds us all how lucky we are to enjoy such an amazing river to wash away the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The following morning will start with camp coffee, juice and a light breakfast to help jump start the second day of guided fishing. Breakfast includes an assortment of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, bagels and cream cheese. Floating from camp through the lower canyon, and another streamside lunch will bring us together again to share more stories and laughter before we end our trip down low on the river where very few anglers get to fish.
At the end of the two day trip, your guide will shuttle you back to your vehicle where you will gather your things, share some pictures and depart for your journey home.
